My Top 3 Priorities

  • DECREASE TAXES, REGULATIONS, INCREASE TRANSPARENCY to bolster business growth -income taxes and corporate taxes must be decreased. Government must be decreased in size and scope . Regulations are crippling the economy by sending jobs offshore.
  • RELIGIOUS LIBERTY - Freedom of religious faith, every man being permitted to worship God according to the dictates of his conscience in concert with civil liberty are the secret to our power and prosperity. Without these we are doomed as nation.
  • HUMAN TRAFFICKING - the horrors of slavery are practiced here and abroad. We cannot turn a blind eye to the exploitation of women children.

Biography

I have a Doctorate of Jurisprudence, JD (Law degree); a Masters degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration; and a BA in Psychology with pre-med studies. In addition, I have a substitute teaching credential. Vocationally, I am a licensed Calif. Real estate broker and luxury playhouse builder (unclegregsplayhouses.com). I have authoedr two books Tainted Meat and Milk Madness. A third book is due out later this year entitled Quackcines. Additionally, I have been an ER volunteer at Mercy Medical Center in Redding for 15 years. I am running for congress because I want to put my education and talents to their best use to thwart the designs of global governance. I believe that global governance is effectively leading to the repudiation of every principle of our constitution by trampling on our freedom of religion, our right to keep and bear arms, our right to raise our children as we see fit, etc., and in its stead impose tyranny to make us voluntarily surrender our freedom and liberty in exchange for the illusion of security.

Questions & Answers

Should immigration laws be changed?  What changes would you support?  Please explain why.
Answer from Gregory Cheadle:

The immigration laws that are on the books should be enforced.

The courts should revisit the 14th amendment with respect to anchor babies. As it stands, illegal aliens can give birth to children in the U.S. thereby allowing those children to have U.S. citizenship and all of the benefits thereof.

Illegal aliens should not be able to access public benefits.

The political climate in Washington, D.C. has been extremely partisan in recent years. In that kind of atmosphere, what would you do to get things done while in office?
Answer from Gregory Cheadle:

I make an attempt to speak with people of all political beliefs. I have reached out to the Democrat student Club at Chico State three times and was rejected each time. I will reach out for solutions. I will not reach out for differences.

What, if anything, does the U.S. need to do in order to address national security and terrorism? Please explain your answer in detail.
Answer from Gregory Cheadle:

There are more people killed in the U.S on any given weekend than have been killed by terrorists in the U.S. The emphasis should be making our streets and cities safe for American citizens from withn, not from so called terrorists without.

The Federal Government plays a part in California water allocation and use through a variety of laws.  What, if any, legislation would you support in an effort to handle water shortages caused by the current and any future drought?
Answer from Gregory Cheadle:

California is largely a desert, hence the term drought is a misnomer. The federal government should leave water allocation to the states.

Political Philosophy

The government that governs least, governs best.

Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor, it must be demanded by the oppressed. Martin Luther King

Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atorcities. Voltaire

We are losing our freedoms and are having taxes and regulations placed on us due to lack of transparency and the inabiiity of congressmen to read bills that are hundreds and thousands of pages in length in the short time they are often required to pass them. Such a culture leads to the passage of bills that have hidden agendas as evidenced by Nacy Pelosi's famous remark, "But we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it..."
