Political Beliefs
Political Philosophy
·I am a life long Democrat and believe that everyone should exercise their right to vote. I have worked tirelessly to help Democrats get elected to public office. I believe that we need to develop and train young and emerging leaders to run successfully for elected office. It's important that new leadership reflect the diversity of Contra Costa County. As Democrats, we need to continue to fight for economic, social and environmental justice. In Contra Costa County and the Bay Area, working families, students and seniors are struggling to maintain a good quality of life. We hear daily about the exorbitant housing costs that are displacing many who've called Contra Costa County and the Bay Area home. The Democratic Party must make the fight for social, economic and environment justice its top priority. I've spent several decades as a Democratic leader championing issues of equity, social, economic, environmental and political justice. If re-elected, I will continue to fight for our Democratic values.

Political Beliefs
Political Philosophy
I believe in Democratic values where the American dream is everyone has a job, food, housing and healthcare. Everyone should have an equal opportunity in higher education and aspire to become a working-middle class family. Because of my experience in public service, I see the need to get more people involved in our democratic process/society, by becoming involved in their communities and registering to vote. So I pledge to work on more voter registration activities and to create/develop alliances to provide leadership development for all residents interested in getting involved in bettering their communities. I ask humbly for your vote.
