Biography

As a mother of five children, a grandmother of five, and a teacher, I am committed to working for better education for our children and an affordable college education.

Because I am approaching retirement and have been disabled for many years, I am working for the rights of senior citizens and the handicapped in Contra Costa county and the State.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I feel it is very important for California to establish fair and equitable guidelines for immigration.

I am very interested in continuing my work to make sure the Delta levees are repaired and maintained. These levees are important to Contra Costa County and northern California as the source of water for citizns and farmers, natural recreational facilities, and one of the beautiful attractions of our area.

My husband and I organized and hosted the e-BART Forum where we brought in representatives from BART and the California Transit Authority to try to justfiy their decision to only provide diesel trains to the citizens of East Contra Costa County for the BART extension the citizens had paid for the past 50 years.
