Paulette has over 25 years of experience working with technology in education.  She has held positions with Toshiba, Okidata, American Power Conversion and Intelligent Papers.  Currently she is the Director of Partnerships for Gooru, a nonprofit organization, whose mission is to honor the human right to education.  Gooru has created a free learning navigator for teachers to organize web resources into lessons so that students can learn their way.   

Paulette is very active in the education and nonprofit communities.  She has served as a member of the Association of Teacher Educator’s Standing Committee on Technology and the Future of Teacher Education, as a board member for the College of Borrego and as President for the Escondido Education Foundation.  In 2012, she was elected to the Escondido Union School District Board of Education.  She served as the President of the Board  in 2015.  


In addition to her technology and volunteer background, Paulette served 9 years in the U.S. Army and was deployed during Desert Storm.  

Paulette grew up in Escondido, CA, and attended Escondido Public Schools.  She is married to her husband John Donnellon, a retired police officer and a small business owner.  They have 2 adult sons, Michael and Kevin.  In her spare time, Paulette enjoys baking and spending time exploring the desert.
