Biography

I have been a political activist for nearly my entire life.  I have worked as a union organizer, a political organizer ans consultant, and held elected office as a City Council member and a School Board Trustee.  Since 2008, I have served as Chair of the Marin Democratic Party, also know as the Democratic Central Committe of Marin.

I am runing for re-election to the Democratic Central Committee to continue to build the Democratic Party, and fight against the forces of inequality, racism and sexism rampant in current political debate in this country.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

We are all in this together.  Government, for all its flaws, is where we come together to promote the common good.  The promise of America is not served by inequality and injustice.  We need to work together to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live up to their potential.

I want a world where my daughters have the same opportunity as the men they work with, where poeple are not judged by the color of their skin, their language, or their religion.

I am practical enough to know this will not happen without fighting for it, and optimistic enough to believe it is possible.
