Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

As an accountant and independent business owner, my number one priority is standing up to special interests that pushed Stockton into bankruptcy.

During my time as a Lincoln Unified School District Trustee, I worked through extremely difficult financial situations to balance the budget each year. I understand that maintaining a high-quality workforce must be balanced with restoring critical services to our residents.  As a Trustee, I provided common sense and an experienced voice to achieve this balance for the district.

Crime has a ripple effect on all facets of our city. It discourages new business, disrupts education and diminishes our quality of life. Due to initiatives like the Marshall Plan, our crime rate is the lowest it has been in years. Much more is needed to address our crime rate. To further combat crime, I will focus on retention of our officers to fulfill the promise made to the voters with Measure A.

Stockton continues to face challenges that require a firm commitment to accountability. With over three decades of extensive budget experience and a decade of public service, I have the experience to be the fiscal watchdog Stockton needs.

I would be honored to have your vote.
