My Top 3 Priorities

  • My highest priority has been, and will continue to be, securing the long-term financial health of our county. We are achieving this by reducing pension costs, privatizing many public services, and attracting new businesses to our County.
  • Another priority is completing the Placer County Conservation Plan, which will serve as the blueprint for development in our County for 50 years. It will drive down the time and cost for obtaining permits while providing meaningful conservation.
  • Finally, we need to continue to meet the challenges of unfunded state mandates, particularly in the area of public protection.
