Melissa Crick
Governing Board Member, Paradise Unified School District
Occupation: Program Coordinator                                 Age: 31

Our schools are the doorway to our children’s future and of utmost importance to all of us. But our schools have to have the right tools to do their job. As your school board member I will  promote policies that remove obstacles to student achievement. I will work in partnership with parents and teachers to give the schools the tools they need to give the students the skills they need. This means having safe, healthy classrooms with the technology needed for modern teaching. The school board must be the eyes, ears, and voice of the community. I will work diligently to develop improved communication between parents, teachers and administrators. As a parent of 3 PUSD students, I will continue to be a resource and a voice for students, teachers and the PUSD district. We must build stronger partnerships within the district as well as with the greater community to create the best possible schools. I respectfully ask for your vote and support.
