My Top 3 Priorities

  • The safety of the public is and always will be my utmost concern. Whether it is safe routes to schools or the citizens on the streets or in their homes, our citizens deserve to be safe. We must not short change our Public Safety Dept.
  • We must increase manufacturing & business opportunities. Our citizens deserve good jobs. This will also increase tax revenue.
  • We need to bring in new and innovative technologies and increase tourism.

Profession:Retired Communications Operator
Council Member, City of Oroville — Elected position (2010–2014)
Communications Operator, California Highway Patrol (1982–2003)

I came with my family to Oroville in 1966. I graduated from Las Plumas High School in 1975. I attended Butte College and continued my education at serveral other educational facilities. I was hired by the California State Police in 1982 and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. In 1995, the State Police and the California Highway Patrol merged into one agency, thus giving me the opportunity to move back to the Oroville area, which I did so immediately. I began attending City Council meetings and became more involved with the community and several local organizations.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I am a proponent for Oroville. I was lucky enoough to have served for 4yrs. on the City Council in 2010. I feel during that time, our town made great strides at becoming a stronger. more vibrant town. My goal is to achieve what is best for our citizens and community. Increase public safety, retain & expand current companies, introduce new and innovative technologies, ideas, and businesses.
