Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

Governing Principles

  1. Represent ALL the people of Pleasanton.
  2. Work hard to look past what divides us and focus on what brings us together.
  3. Make fiscally conservative decisions to prevent unnecessary lawsuits at taxpayer expense.
  4. Emphasize education as a priority for all residents.
  5. Promote smart growth through planning and collaboration with local leaders.
  6. Encourage resident involvement within our city through volunteerism.

Like you, I care deeply about education, economic vitality, and our environment in Pleasanton.

We all know that Pleasanton has great schools, but we have the opportunity to further enhance the educational experiences of our children. When elected, I will promote strategic and stronger partnerships among local corporations, city government, families, and our school district.

Similarly, while our local economy is good, I will encourage more retail and restaurants for our downtown, greater parking options, and expand upon themed events such as First Wednesday and Concerts in the Park.

To ensure that our city does not fall victim to poor development decisions, when elected I will advocate for public policies that protect our hillsides, promote open space, connect and expand our trails, and offer more recreational activities for youth and seniors.
