Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

My political philosophy is simple I think in that I am fiscally conservative, socially a “I dont' care” person. In other words, what you do in your home is your business, not the governments. Fiscally I think the government should run on a balanced budget just like any family must. Kind of like the boy scouts, leave behind better than what you found, no matter how small.

Position Papers

Slow Growth in housing, Real growth in business development.

Traffic is difficult, local taxes are high, the restaurants that are here are always crowded, and Oakley is going to get more people and homes.

Oakley is experiencing the largest building boom in its history, with construction under way on 5,000 homes in the next 20 years. Achieving balanced communities and strengthening community cohesion means making provisions for good quality housing offering a variety of house types, sizes and tenures to meet different needs and development that provides opportunities for the community to share in local employment, shopping, leisure and social facilities which are fundamental to the building of more balanced communities.
