My Top 3 Priorities

  • One of my top priorities is to establish a climate of civility on the Board in which positions and opinions on issues are respectfully presented and debated with the ultimate goal of achieving consensus decisions.
  • A second priority is maintaining fiscal solvency of the KPPCSD. The District has significant fiscal issues going forward. The District must continue to ensure the provision of essential services while maintaining our physical and social assets.
  • A third priority involves the governance structure of the District. The Board must decide on the bifurcation of the General Manager/Chief of Police position; and, if separated, how that can be done within the existing budget.
