  • Attended public schools and graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Master’s in Business Administration where she teaches.
  • Fluently bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • 3rd generation teacher.
  • Served on policy advisory committees such as Fresno County Measure C Citizen’s Oversight Committee and City of Fresno District Implementation Committee.

  • Volunteered as a teacher with Junior Achievement U.S.A teaching children the financial management skills they will need to be successful entrepreneurs and Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE).

"We need to provide the resources for all students to succeed, whether they are headed to a four-year college, a vocational education program, or will be entering the workforce out of high school.  I will support increased technical and career education programs (e.g. welding, computer programming/coding, nursing and auto-mechanic), ensuring that our students have the skills they need to secure good-paying jobs."

"Our schools must have the support staff our students need to be safe and successful, including counselors, nurses and aides.  Making sure our children are safe and have a positive learning environment on every single campus will be my top priority."

"Parents are students’ first and most important teacher and advocate. We need to do more to bring parents into the educational process and allow our community to provide meaningful input. Working with non-profits, faith-based organizations and the business community will ensure all voices are heard and included in shaping the future of Fresno Unified.”
