It has been an honor representing you as a member of the Cerritos College Board of Trustees since 1995.

Recently numerous improvements have been made to our campus including the college’s new Liberal Arts/DSPS Building, Culinary Arts, Child Development and upgrades to the Learning Resource Center.  Next year the new Fine Arts and Mathematics/CIS Buildings will open and other new construction projects will begin. Cerritos College continues to be on the move!

Every year that I have represented you we have adopted a balanced budget, while maintaining reserves.  During my tenure Cerritos has never experienced employee layoffs or furloughs. Our students receive a quality education as we continue to plan for the future while constantly providing greater educational opportunities for all students.

Additionally, I will strive to:

  • Increase our Open Educational Resource Program to include every course taught on campus;
  • Investigate the potential development of student housing
  • Continue to support programs that increase student success and higher transfer rates.

I am proud to provide experience, leadership, and the ability to get things done.
