Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

A full time student should be able to finish in two years.  We have a problem with what is happening at Cerritos College when students are taking 3-4 years to finish a two year program.  The college is not doing the job that it is paid to do, which is to help our students navigiate their way through the system.  Currently students are not able to talk to an academic advisor on a regular basis which is causing students to get frustrated and either go to another college or stop going to school altogether.  My focus will be to provide our students access to advisors on a regular basis and to increase the number of core classes to help our students finish in two years.
