My Top 3 Priorities

  • I will fight to bring true transparency and real public participation back to Alhambra City Hall.
  • Preserve Alhambra's historic homes, neighborhoods, and parks.
  • Fight for progressive and sustainable transportation alternatives to reduce traffic and pollution.

  • My wife, Na Ling, and I have raised and sent to college our three children:  Justin, Kevin, and Cerrin.
  • I am a proud homeowner and resident of Alhambra since 2000.
  • I was born in Malaysia and came to the United States of America in 1982.
  • I earned my Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University.
  • I am a Registered Fire Protection Engineer in the State of California.
  • I retired after fifteen years of service as a Fire Inspector for the City of Alhambra and am currently working as a Fire Consultant.
  • I am active in many community service groups, including the Guan Yin Citta Buddhist Temple in Alhambra.
  • I speak 5 languages: English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese.
