Her family then moved to South Gate, California where she continued her elementary school and eventually graduated from South Gate High school.  Mrs. Roldan went on to attend Cal State University Long Beach where she earned her Bachelors in Communication Studies and a minor in Spanish.

Right after graduation she started teaching at Dickenson Elementary. She was one of the teachers recruited by the State of California to bring innovative ideas and enthusiasm to the Compton Unified School District. With that amazing experience in the classroom, she decided to move to Nicaragua and teach 6th and 7th grade Math and ESL at the American Schools. During this time she earned a Masters degree in International Education from Framingham State College.

After volunteering at various children’s, senior citizen, and women shelters during her travels, she decided to dedicate a portion of her life to public service.

On her return to the US, Mrs. Roldan began working with several Hispanic Media Outlets to outreach the Hispanic Community. She held several director positions in Fortune 500 companies and a few years later, she launched her own small business specializing in Hispanic Marketing and Grassroots Campaigns.

With dedication and passion, she continues to serve and fundraise for numerous non-profits and charities promoting culture, confidence through the arts, youth wellness, and women empowerment.

Mrs. Roldan believes in the importance of innovation, integrity, and effective communication for the well being of her community. She is a strong and passionate leader among her family, friends, and colleagues.

Mrs. Roldan is a widow and raising a bright and beautiful 9 year old daughter, who keeps her grounded and enthusiast about what’s to come.
