Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

As a 40-year resident of Coronado, my number one priority will be preserving residential quality of life and ensuring that residents are fully represented at City Hall. I have a deep understanding of the challenges facing Coronado and will focus on: Reducing building density and advocating for historic preservation; addressing commuter/visitor traffic problems; developing a long-term tourism management strategy; working closely with the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority in preparing the Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP); and expanding the dialogue with the Navy to address impacts of base operations on residential neighborhoods.
