Questions & Answers

Questions from League of Women Voters of North County San Diego (1)

What is the most significant challenge facing the City of Del Mar, and if you are elected, what steps will you take to address it?
Answer from Sherryl Parks:

The biggest challenge facing our small city is to preserve the residential character of neighborhoods while welcoming millions of visitors each year.  The community determines my priorities. I will work to increase property values with an efficient design review process, improve our streets and sidewalks and parks, control disruptive short-term rentals in residential zones, enhance safe beach access, and complete our new city hall as the cornerstone of a downtown renaissance.
