My Top 3 Priorities

  • Listen to FPUD rate payers to better understand what my neighbors need and expect from their representative
  • Protect our water source and to continue working on the Conjunctive Use Project with Camp Pendleton which may provide more affordable water to our valley in the future
  • Strive to provide our Fallbrook Community with quality, natural recreation by promoting and working for more outdoor recreational opportunities such as hiking, bicycling and horseback riding

Experience

Biography

I have lived in Fallbrook for 32 years and always been an active participant in my community both as a volunteer and business person. I love Fallbrook and strive to keep it a wonderful place to live and raise a family. As North County continues to grow with more homes being built, we see our rural lands shrinking and natural recreational opportunities doing the same. We all must participate in providing more parks, hiking, bycycling and equestrian trails. I've been an advocate of the Santa Margarita and San Luis Rey trails for many years and respect those volunteers and special individuals who work so hard on our behalf to make them available to us. As a Board member of FPUD it allows me to represent these interestes as well as keep a watchful eye on water rates and supply. I hope you will agree and cast your vote for me.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I believe all of us should be part of our local government and understand what is being done to protect our resources and rights to affordable water. Fiscal responsibility is key to keeping rates as low as possible while exploring new ways to insure there is water for our children and grand children. The Conjunctive Use Water Project is a partnership with Camp Pendleton where water from the Santa Margarita River will be contained on the facility and a portion allocated to Fallbrook. Water costs continue to rise in California and this is one direction FPUD is looking to help alleviate those rising costs. There is much more to do though and many ways costs can be trimmed affectively. Electing the right Board members is key to our water future as well as recreational opportunities we are so fortunate to have.
