My Top 3 Priorities

  • Planned Growth: Promoting in-fill development and reducing Downtown impact fees along with instituting firm growth limits in our Residential Development Ordinance will be a first step to strengthen our community.
  • Economic Development: We need to attract industries that pay more than minimum wage; following through with the Gilroy Economic Strategic Plan which calls for Professional, Scientific and Technical Service Companies along with Food Manufacturing.
  • Fiscal Responsibility: We have to plan on investing in our City infrastructure such as Roads, sidewalks and youth programs while at the same time operate within a balanced budget.
