Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I am excited to share with you that I AM RUNNING FOR LOS ALTOS CITY COUNCIL! I am so proud to call Los Altos my home and like many residents, I care deeply about the future of our city. David and I chose Los Altos to raise our family because we loved the character and values of Los Altos and appreciated that families and community were priorities.

Over the next few years, City Council will need to effectively address some key issues to ensure these remain priorities. I believe I have the right experience and energy to be an effective Councilmember.

If elected, my main goals will be to:

  1. Tackle existing issues and identify long-term solutions;
  2. Ensure Los Altos continues to be a great place for seniors, families and the entire community; and
  3. Be a voice for Los Altos on regional issues.
  4. Make Traffic Safety a Priority

As an attorney, I have analyzed complex issues, interpreted local laws and policies, weighed the impact of possible actions, collaborated with different groups, and made informed decisions on behalf of my clients. I would bring the same thorough, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to City Council and work to improve outreach to all corners of our community to ensure the vision for Los Altos reflects our community's values.

Based on my experience as a local government employee, Vice-Chair of both the Los Altos Parks and Recreation Commission and Grant Writing Committee, and participant in the Los Altos Community Foundation LEAD Program, I also understand City Council’s role and how to navigate the government process to achieve results. The next City Council will need to work together to build bridges between different groups in our community. I am prepared to take on that role, and it would be an honor to serve the residents of Los Altos.
