Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I reject a one-size-fits-all approach to education and support options for learning, including charter schools, career and technical education, linked learning academies, home-schooling, online learning and early college high schools.

I believe that the Visalia Board of Education must be responsive and receptive to parents, staff, students and the community at large; encouraging open and effective communication. I will build public understanding, support and participation by visiting our schools and holding regular “office hours” to meet with the community.
