Biography

Re-elect your voice at City Hall! As a father, I thoroughly enjoy living and raising my daughter in Signal Hill for 25 years.  Since 1997, I have worked hard to be an advocate and independent voice for the citizens of Signal Hill (especially kids) and to improve the quality of life for everyone who lives and works in the City.  I have brought millions of dollars to Signal Hill.  Signal Hill is now considered one of the most desirable cities in LA County.

My priorities for the next four years are

  • A new library powered by solar;
  • Ensuring a strong police force;
  • Sustained business and residential growth;
  • Balanced budgets;
  • Increasing renewable energy in the city;
  • Maintaining accountability to the citizens;
  • Supporting enhanced transparency through directly elected Mayor.

In addition to serving on Council, I have served in the following capacities: President, Gateway Cities COG and LA Division of CA League of Cities; Board member, LBCC Board of Foundation, LA County Commission for Local Government Services, Signal Hill Sustainability Committee, LAEDC, WCA, RMC, CCEJ, and Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital Advisory Council. Prior job titles include VP/Controller, Comptroller, and CFO.  I am a graduate of USC.  I have brought extensive business experience to government.

I am proud to represent you on Council. I ask for your vote!
