My Top 3 Priorities

  • The City Council should tackle implementation of our approved plans for street, sewer and park improvements, which have been funded and approved. We need to ensure their timely implementation.
  • Partner with parents, teachers, administrators, board members, and the Hermosa Beach Education Foundation to address the needs of our children
  • Work with residents, businesses and developers to address public safety, parking, and nuisance concerns in the City.

Your input and your votes matter.  Please vote November 7th.

My wife Dina and I moved to the Beach Cities 20 years ago, and are grateful to raise our two children in Hermosa Beach.  With over 25 years of professional experience, and four years of public service experience, I have the needed experience to represent you on the City Council.  As an engaged homeowner rooted in the community, I share your interest in protecting our small town and its environmentally-conscious traditions for families, City residents, and local businesses to enjoy far into the future.

Serving with my colleagues on the Council, we successfully achieved major milestones over the past four years.

1) Funded over $25 million in infrastructure upgrades – streets, sewers, and parks;

2) Protected our community from oil drilling, costly litigation, and environmental risks;

3) Allocated over 80% of our budget to public safety and infrastructure;

4) Funded improved fire services and firehouse upgrades;

5) Worked with parents and our School Board to improve school funding;

6) Maintained our fun and active beach lifestyle, including approving numerous beach events and the installation of pickle ball and beach tennis courts;

7) Supported our small businesses;

8) Maintained our small beach town character and lifestyle.

Prior to making decisions Councilmembers need input from the community.  I started the Community First meetings to create a friendly forum where residents can learn about issues before the Council and provide their valuable input.

Facts matter. Let's set the record straight.  No one is paving the green belt.

Hermosa Beach does not impose carbon reduction requirements on residents or businesses that exceed California requirements.

Based on four years of vital community input and involvement., the Council unanimously adopted PLAN Hermosa.

Your vote matters.  Please evaluate the accomplishments of the Council over the past four years and vote accordingly. I would be honored to earn your vote on November 7th.
