My Top 3 Priorities

  • Teach our children to use technology without necessarily surrounding them with it. There are compelling ways to use technology in the classroom, but they must first be well researched, vetted, and discussed among teachers, parents, administrators.
  • Make sure that all voters are included in the school district's Master Planning process for new schools (not just voters with children) especially as the Master Plan may require new bonds that will affect all residents.
  • California public schools have the largest class sizes in the nation and are at the bottom in per pupil spending. I support the increase in state funding for K-12 public education.
