My Top 3 Priorities

  • Fire Recovery/Rebuilding. Prioritizing fire victims w/ insurance reform, rebuild protections, price gouging prevention, supplemental funding for affected schools, improving/replacing communication systems & I will continue helping however I can.
  • I will continue battling the human tragedy of opioid dependence and overdose. I have authored legislation reforming prescribing practices; automatic prescribing of naloxone, a medication that immediately reverses the effects of overdose & save lives
  • As chair of the Assembly Health Committee and a career health care provider, improving healthcare quality and access is my top priority. I will work to achieve universal health coverage for all Californians
