Official Statement

Researched by Voter’s Edge
Source: Butte County Clerk-Recorder

Butte County deserves a vibrant, clean, and healthy future. We are a community that works hard and plays by the rules in order to serve our families and neighbors. We deserve better and brighter opportunities. I was born and raised in this district, and as a small business owner/ housing advocate who meets with residents every day, I know our concerns and struggles. Through my insurance agency, I guide residents through risk management and uncertainty, and I pride myself on helping people protect and shape their future.

I earned a B.S. in Community & Regional Development from UC Davis and a Masters in City & Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I am the right candidate for this job because I have the skills to bring diverse groups together to solve a common issue. Now more than ever, our community needs a new, unifying voice that will bring us into the future. I will work hard for all of our residents and our values, not the big corporations or big oil.

I will work to bring innovation and good-paying jobs to our community so that each of us has an equal opportunity to prosper. No one should have to choose between paying for rent and paying for healthcare. Our children deserve a high-quality, well-funded public education system. I advocate for these values every day. And I will continue to advocate for these values and for our entire community in Sacramento as your Assemblywoman for the 3rd District.
