Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

Syda understands the importance of having smart, independent, and ethical judges who make carefully considered decisions that promote justice and reach common-sense results.

Syda knows that the decisions of a Superior Court judge can have deep impacts, whether for just one individual or for the entire community.

Syda strongly believes that everyone who appears in court deserves their cases to be decided by a well-prepared, thoughtful judge who understands the law and the consequences of his or her decision.

Syda understands that safety is a priority to the community and that the justice system has a responsibility not only to get violent criminals off the street, but to find effective alternatives to incarceration for non-violent offenders that will end revolving-door crime.
