Biography

I’m running for San Diego City Council District 8 because our neighborhoods need a fresh start and a devoted leader of the community to represent us at City Hall. I’ll fight every day to help build a city government that works for everyone.

I am so honored to call district 8 my home. I’m a proud homeowner residing in Otay Mesa San Diego with my beautiful wife, two children, and elderly mother-in-law.

I am dedicated to our community. As a CEO and co-founder of the first legal medical marijuana dispensary in the City of San Diego’s history, I commit to you to continue to serve the underserved while helping to truly revitalize our community.

I care deeply about ensuring that our neighborhoods get what other surrounding districts already have: quality city services for all of our families.

Political Philosophy

When elected as your City Council member, my staff and I will fight to change the policies and mistakes of the past. District 8 has had enough of big promises and little action. As your council member we will demand a fair shake of the general fund for our Bario’s of Logan our Heights of Sherman and our gem San Ysidro. We will embrace our cultural gems with pride. We will strengthen cross border relations and not lose sight of our neighbors to the south. Our community entry signs will be placed to generate lasting memorable first impressions. The surrounding vegetation will be placed as a true reflection and representation of the surrounding businesses and residence of our great community. Our roads and potholes will be addressed in a realtime fashion like district 1. I will enter into peaceful verbal altercations with our mayor in order to help facilitate my constituents needs, like expanding our parks and recreations programs. We will also advocate the end the bureaucratic gauntlet that project developers face when attempting to accomplish the most simple task within the city's Development Services Department.
