Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I have spoken with many of you. I have heard your concerns and we share common hopes. We are at the crossroads of making a better Fremont through stronger community engagement and responsible governance which will improve our quality of life city-wide.

Transportation and housing are among our most pressing issues. So I will work on smart solutions for resolving standstill traffic congestion so that commute time will be replaced with family time. I will fight for preservation of neighborhood characters. This is my commitment.

Public safety is important and I will strive to keep our police force fully staffed through modernization, efficiency and readiness. This will keep Fremont safe.

As President of the Fremont Unified School District, we spent your tax dollars wisely to overcome school overcrowdedness while improving student test scores and campus safety. I will endeavor to build consensus on the City Council for a better, livable Fremont that will make us all proud.

Please join US Congressman Ro Khanna, Assemblymember Kansen Chu, and Fremont Mayor Lily Mei in electing Yang Shao to Fremont City Council District 4. www.electyangshao.com
