Political Philosophy

Dear Neighbor,

I am running for re-election to improve and protect the things that residents need and want in San Leandro. I have real hands-on experience handling the things that are important to residents. I have solved problems by developing real solutions.

For over 15 years, I have volunteered and dedicated myself to improving the quality of life in San Leandro.  I have worked faithfully to making San Leandro a better place for all.  I am proud that my first community project is the now beautiful rehabiliated Siempre Verde Park.  I want to continue improving San Leandro this way.

I have a proven track record with multiple projects - from the parks that our children deserve and want to really dialing down on the budget to make sure our city is solvent and viable.

As your Councilmember, I will continue to work hard to make San Leandro a more vibrant and thriving place to live and work, for your family and mine!

My continuing priorities are:

- Completing the $75 million improvement plan for a new branch library, street paving, new pools, dedicated bucycle lanes, and enhanced pedestrian safety

- Forming and implementing a housing model for working families in San Leandro

- Supporting businesses, creating jobs, and promoting economic development

- Improving public safety

- Promoting and expanding public W-Fi, innovation, and Smart City solutions

- Exercising good government accountability, transparency, and fiscal responsibility

I humbly ask for your vote.

Corina
