Biography

I have been in Albany for more than 15 years, starting in the district many years ago as a student attending Albany High. Since then I have returned to the district so that my children can enjoy the same wonderful experience and stellar education that I received as a student here in Albany. I currently serve as the Marin School Site Council President and the Vice President for the Black Parent Advisory Group, both of these jobs allow me to be involved in the district and play a key role in the development of students in the district. My professional work is about supporting adults with disabilities in the workplace -- so I know about the needs of our special education students and I can appreciate the work that teachers and staff do to support those students.
