Biography

Pete Mott is a Napa City Councilmember, small business owner, father and community leader who has worked tirelessly to create a bright future for Napa.

During his time on the City Council, Pete has served in numerous leadership roles, including service as:

  • Founder, Napa on Ice
  • Founder, “Celebrating Seniors”
  • Board Member, Napa Sanitation District
  • Board Member, Napa-Vallejo Waste Management Authority
  • Member, Napa County Gang Task Force
  • Council Representative, City/County Affordable Housing Subcommittee
  • Council Representative, Downtown Specific Plan Steering Committee

 

Pete’s work on a variety of boards and commissions related to affordable housing, public safety, waste management and sanitation have provided him a diverse policy background to tackle these city and regional issues.  Pete’s leadership in creating “Celebrating Seniors” and Napa on Ice has also strengthened our community’s character and brought together residents from all walks of life, from infants and children to senior citizens.

Pete and his wife, Nancy, live east of downtown with their two daughters, Madison and Teagan.
