My Top 3 Priorities

  • Quality Patient Care: Quality patient care is at the forefront. I want to ensure adequacy, professionalism, and compassionate care be offered to all residents.
  • Community Engagement and Development: We must empower our community and ensure that all voices are valued and invited to partake in this public healthcare system.
  • Transparency: Accountability and honest policies of integrity which reflect dignity and respect, must be present.I will address key issues with full transparency for the greater good of the District.

Biography

To achieve continued success, health and wellness are key to prosperity. I am running to work diligently and effectively for all residents by focusing on pressing issues impacting our community.

I bring forth a desire to make impactful strides that will support progressive measures that are responsive and transparent. I will provide strong leadership and professionalism, while demonstrating dignity and respect for all. Together, we can improve the quality of life, with my commitment to ensure high quality patient care, demonstrate fiscal responsibility, and accessibility to direct care services.

Born and raised in the Salinas Valley, I still call this area home. I am invested in the success of our community and have demonstrated this through various volunteer engagements and service opportunities. Currently, I am a member of the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee at Hartnell College for Measure T.

I hold an Associate degree from Hartnell College, in addition to a dual Bachelor’s from the University of California, Los Angeles.  I completed a Master of Arts degree in Education from San José State University.

With my education, background and experience, I hope to best serve you on the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare District Board.
