Biography

I am a 21 year Brea Resident and Parent and I have spent the past 9 years working alongside teachers, parents and students in our school district. I have donated time serving as a room dad, safety site council, PTA President for both the elementary, Junior High and now the PTSO President at the High School. I have been attending School Board meetings since 2016 and have educated myself to really know and understand our district. I am currently a board member of the Brea Education Foundation which raises money to support our schools and a proud member of the Brea Rotary. If elected what I can promise is I would be an honest and hard working board member, I would make myself available and listen to the needs of our teachers as they are truly the foundation of our schools. I would make myself available to parents if anyone has questions and concerns as I feel communication is key. Safety is a huge concern to many and I would be fiscally conservative and make sure that our schools are safe and well maintained. Some of our classes in our district are crowded and I would be a board member who would listen and see these issues and do the very best to solve the issue in a timely manner. We need to make sure that we are following through with a master plan for future facility improvements and with that in mind prudent spending practices need to be made. We need current and rigorous curriculum in science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics preparing our students for college and careers. I ask for your vote so we can work together for the future of our children delivering high-quality education to all students will ensure their future success strengthen our community and preserve home values.
