My Top 3 Priorities

  • As a former teacher, I know what our classrooms really need, our limited funds need to be spent where they will do the most good for our students. Budgets must be transparent and we must maximize our state funding.
  • Our students face threats from physical violence, bullying, and social media. School districts need to do all they can to address and prevent these threats and to keep our school campuses safe.
  • Our students deserve a 21st century education including high-quality academics, career preparation, and the skills to become contributing members of society. This can only be achieved if SVUSD can attract and retain the best teachers.
