Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

As a retired Police Parent Coordinator working for the Distrilct of Santa Ana for 15 years, I learnd the importance to be an elective official if I want to make changes in our district. Since the begining of working for the district in 1994 till now, I have been involved in the political and educational system. I run a grass roots campaign in 2006, with a lots of love and passion with the help of the parents. I was close to win the election with a difference of 86 votes against two powerful, experience incunbents. Unfortunatelly, I learned that being honest and passionate about helping the parents, students, teachers, classified and the community, it's not enought. Funding is required to win elections. I'm considered myself an honest with integrity, and I will give results once I'm your board member. I believe in terms limits. One of the  incumbents has been there for more than 20 years!! I will continue running till I win an election to help my constituents.  I'm asking you for your vote November 6th to make the difference in the Santa Ana Unified School Board of Education. VOTE YES CECILIA AGUINAGA!!
