My Top 3 Priorities
- Increase Academic Achievement: Identify and remove barriers to student success, increase A-G completion rates, expand dual enrollment program with community colleges, expand CTE pathways and STEAM initiatives, increase participation in AP courses.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and positive climate that supports the academic, emotional, and physical needs of every student -- all are important aspects of academic success. Nurses, Psychologists, Counselors and Wellness Specialists must be in place.
- Interventions to support and narrow the achievement gap for English learners, low income, foster youth and students with disabilities. Address school safety and connectedness issues; expand Early Warning System to identify struggling students.
