My Top 3 Priorities

  • My father was an F.B.I agent, so I see public safety as #1 priority. I would like to see an increase police presence and improve a fire evacuation plan.
  • Anaheim has a $600 million dollar public pension debt. I will work on the reforms needed to protect city taxpayers from unsustainable employee pensions.
  • Anaheim residents feel there is too much influence from special interests groups. I feel Anaheim's tax dollars should be used to provide community services that benefit all Anaheim residents.

My top priorities for Anaheim District 6

Unlike my opponents, I strongly opposed the massive taxpayer giveways to luxury hotel developers. I am not against hotels being built, but I don't believe they need our tax dollars to do so. I believe the general fund money should be spent on vital city sevices such as police, fire, and maintaining our infrastructure.

I am running to serve the people of DIstrict 6. I am running because Anaheim, and specifically District 6, needs a council member who will serve the people instead of the special intrest groups.  I am running to set priorities and make decisions that will be in the best interest of the people who live in the neighborhoods of Anaheim Hills. I believe the number one priority should be dto keep Anaheim residents safe.  If the people of Anaheim aren't safe, or don't feel safe in their own community, then little else in city government matters.

Public safety also means exceptional fire protection. We owe a  great debt of gratitude to our fire department for keeping the Canyon 2 fire limited to what it was. However, I believe our city needs to be better prepared in case of evacuation. If elected, I will begin working on a comprehensive evacuation plan from day one.

My next priority is to invest in our city's infrastructure.  Our roads and parks are aging and I will work to ensure the scheduled maintenance doesn't slip.  I currently serve as a City of Anaheim Parks Commissioner and previously served on the board of the Canyon Hills Soccer Association. I know from these experiences the importance of maintaining our parks and open spaces to the highest standard.

Making public safety and civic upkeep my top priority means the city needs to spend its precious funds in those areas.  That's why I have consistently opposed and will stand up against cronyism and corporate giveaways. This the biggest difference between myself and my opponents. Public safety and civic upkeep cannot be a top priority when you give in to special interests.

It's about choices. It's about knowing who you represent. I know that I would represent the residents of Anaheim.

I humbly as for your vote on Nov 6th.
