My Top 3 Priorities

  • We need to protect our residential neighborhoods from incompatible uses, whether high density development which creates impacts on noise, traffic, and parking, or problem group homes which can disrupt and institutionalize a neighborhood.
  • Public safety. This includes full staffing all public safety, including police, fire, paramedics, and public works. We must also institute defensible space programs to protect both residents and visitors..
  • A firm financial foundation is key to accomplishing any of our goals. We need to spend less and save more for an inevitable downturn, basing future budgets on a rolling revenue average of the past several years, not an optimistic future projection.
