Top 3 Priorities

  • My first vote will be to immediately begin construction of the Veterans Cemetery at the original Great Park site, approved by the State four years ago. We get the cemetery and the developer does not get that land to build 812,000 sf with 10,000 cars.
  • It's critical that we take steps to stop rampant building - we used to issue 1500-2000 building permits/year. Now it's up to 4000 which means 3 people, 2 cars and 4 commuter trips per day. If elected I will immediately begin working on reigning it in
  • We need to tackle the large classroom sizes; the extra traffic with drop-off and pick-up at schools all at the same times-the schools weren't built for that. Let's not lose a child - let's talk about solutions.
