Profession:Governing Board Member, Santa Ana Unified
Governing Board Member, Santa Ana Unified School District — Elected position (2012–current)

California State University, Fullerton Bachelor's of Science, Human Services (2001)

As a member of the Santa Ana Unified School District School Board, I have focused on accountability and opportunities for our youth. I am running for Santa Ana City Council because it is time to increase accountability at City Hall and to put residents first. I immigrated to the United States and have lived in Santa Ana for more than three decades. I proudly attended Santa Ana Unified schools, Santa Ana College, and California State University, Fullerton.

I will improve city services for residents and work to beautify our neighborhoods. As your next councilmember I will:

  • Increase public safety for our neighborhoods;
  • Address the problem of homelessness with compassion, and protect residents’ quality of life
  • Allocate resources for clean streets, park improvements and neighborhood needs; and Collaborate with education agencies to strengthen our public schools.
  • I will also fight to protect the taxpayer.

We don’t need to increase sales taxes, property tax or increase fees to balance the city budget. Santa Ana ’s working families already pay enough taxes. I’ll collaborate with local nonprofits, churches and businesses in order to help make Santa Ana a safe, vibrant city once again.

I would be honored to receive your vote. For more information, contact me at .
