My Top 3 Priorities

  • Transparency and fiscal responsibility
  • Ensure community safety, keep our small town feel.
  • Maintain civility-too much divisiveness on current council. Get back to putting our residents and community above the infighting.

As a 14-year resident of Villa Park, I have heard our residents voice their concerns on issues our city faces such as infrastructure, beautification, budget, traffic, safety and more.  We have a unique situation being a small city. Our city can be likened to a small business who is tasked with hearing our residents’ concerns and addressing those concerns with logical, unemotional compromises and resolutions.

I currently sit on the Board of Directors for Villa Park Little League for the past 8 years and on the Villa Park Community Services Foundation Board of Directors for the past 3 years.

I hold a BA in Biology and a Graduate Degree in Tumor Immunology.  Currently, I work with my husband facilitating the growth of our business.

I believe in hard work, dedication, persistence, compromise, integrity and honesty.  I believe in policies and rules but if the rules are outdated or no longer fit, then I believe we amend them based on the needs of the community. Villa Park is an amazing community and I want to get back to focusing on our residents and our community instead of the vitriol and incivility that is happening on our current council.

Respectfully, I ask for your support and thank those of you who cast your vote for me.  A vote for me is a vote for a better City Council.

Political Philosophy

My political philosophy is - I don't have one.  I do have a philosophy on how to treat people and work together, listen (twice as much as you speak) communicate and treat everyone with respect and courtesy. Compromise is an important component to getting things done.  The City Council position is a borrowed position and one that I will treat with the utmost respect.
