My Top 3 Priorities

  • Local Control and 100% locally sourced water. By providing local water at 1/3 of the cost of imported water, ratepayers save.
  • Low rates for households and businesses in Costa Mesa! Conservative money management and strong financial controls provide savings for taxpayers and keep rates low and fair.
  • Safe drinking water for all! Since the creation of Mesa Water in 1960 there have been no reportable water quality issues.

Biography

Meet Marice…

Marice DePasquale was appointed by the Mesa Water Board in 2017 to represent the Division 3 communities of North Costa Mesa and landmarks such as South Coast Plaza, Segerstrom Center for the Arts and Orange Coast College.

As a 5th Generation Native California and more than 20 year resident and homeowner in Costa Mesa she loves our community and cares deeply.  She is running for re-election to assure a safe, affordable, abundant, and reliable water supply.  Water is vital to assuring our quality of life, property values, and the economic success of Costa Mesa.

This election is about ensuring ratepayers are protected and she will do just that. With a track record unmatched by other agencies – AAA credit rating, elimination of future unfunded pension debt and continuous infrastructure improvement – ratepayers can rest assured that their water is safe, reliable and affordable!

She and her husband Gregg (a lifelong Costa Mesa resident), are proud to call Costa Mesa their home.  Having attended the University of California, Irvine (UCI), earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with an emphasis in voting and elections, Mrs. DePasquale pursued a career in public relations.  Finding her passion she established her own business nearly ten years ago and works with local community groups and organizations to build consensus.

Valuing public service and giving back, she serves as a board member on the Seneca Family of Agencies (a nonprofit adoption agency dedicated to the creation, preservation, and support of foster care, adoptive and relative care), has served on UCI’s School of Social Science Dean’s Board of Counselors, the City of Huntington Beach’s Affordable Housing Committee, and the Orange County Chapter of the Building Industry Association, among other organizations. A lifelong Girl Scout, she also finds time for her Brownie Troop.

With your vote she will continue to work for you and Mesa Water’s local water supply.
