I have extensive community involvement experience. In 2010 I became a volunteer with the Santa Barbara County Road Enhancement Partnership Program, quickly followed by membership in the Vandenberg Village Association. Currently I am serving as President of the VVA. In 2013 I became a founding member of the Vandenberg Village Park & Playground Coalition and serve as their Chairman, and in 2015 I was invited to become a member of the Vandenberg Village Lions Club which I am now serving as 1st Vice President.

I join these organization because I want to make a positive contribution to our community.


I have an AS degree in Graphic Art Production and have worked in the career field for over 45 years. I currently work for the Department of the U. S. Air Force as a Visual Information Artist.  I served 26 years on active duty attaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant (E-8), retiring in 1999.  I successfully completed each level of Professional Military Education to include Airman Leadership School, Noncommission Officer Academy, and Senior Noncommission Officer Academy.

I’ve been described as being fiscally conservative moderated with a strong sense of social responsibility. I am a part of this community, it’s my home, and I hope to assist in its continuance to thrive.
