Experience

Biography

I am Gregg Gardiner and I am asking for your vote, so I may continue to represent you on the Humboldt Community Services District Board.

You may know me as the publisher of “101 Things to Do” magazine, or as Chair of the Toys for Tots program in Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity Counties and Co-Chair of the Honor Flight program that took our WWII and Korean war vets back to Washington.

You may not know that I was the Founding Chairman of a member-owned electrical Co-op in Hawaii; served in the US Marines; was President of the Eureka Rotary; and the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce.

As Director for HCSD, I have been privileged to represent you on: the implementation of one of the most extensive wastewater projects in years - the Martin Slough Interceptor project; the completion of a 20-year Water Management Program for the District; The replacement and upgrade of critical water and wastewater equipment and facilities; working with the state in their development of a water affordability program;

I believe that my experience is valuable to maintaining safe and reliable water, sewer and streetlights throughout HCSD and in facing future challenges. Thank you for your vote!
