Biography
I'm a proud product of Elk Grove. My family moved to Elk Grove in search of safe neighborhoods and good public schools, and we found that in Elk Grove. I attended Elk Grove public schools--Elk Grove Elementary, Markofer Elementary, Kerr Middle, and Elk Grove High. This community allowed me to succeed, now I'm running to pay it forward and ensure that families like mine can enjoy those same opportunities. I've given back to Elk Grove through the City of Elk Grove's Multicultural Committee, where I worked as an original organizer of the city's annual Multicultural Festival. I went on to college and law school, and returned to Elk Grove to continue my service to community. I worked in the Elk Grove Unified School District as a paraeducator, and as a freelance graphic designer. I currently work for a nonprofit public interest law firm on issues related to housing and transporation.

Political Beliefs
Political Philosophy
I believe that decisions at City Hall should be driven by what's in the best interest of the community, not by what special interests or deep pocket political contributors want. I believe that people need to be prioritized before politics, and that our elected officials must strive to build bridges and bring people together. That is the perspective that I will bring to City Hall.
