My Top 3 Priorities

  • Ensure students with a great educational and co-curricular experience while striving for academic excellence
  • Make student-centered financial decisions while maintaining a balanced budget
  • Advocate for equity in education

Our students deserve a great educational and co-curricular experience while striving for academic excellence! As the parent of a Live Oak student, I have served in eight Morgan Hill Unified School District supporting organizations continuously since 2010 including three School Site Councils, as President of the Paradise Valley Home and School Club, as Britton Middle School’s volleyball coach and currently as Vice President of Fundraising for the Live Oak Band Boosters. My governance experience within our district has allowed me to acquire first-hand knowledge of the opportunities, as well as the challenges, that our students and families encounter. As Executive Director of a nonprofit that operates nonpublic schools serving over 25 Bay Area school districts, I stay well informed on the issues and the educational landscape in our state that affect our district. I want to make the greatest impact I can for our students by utilizing my degree in accounting and the competencies acquired during my career in finance, budgeting, human resources and operations. These skills and the passion to support our schools will allow me to further the district’s mission and do my part to ensure all students are empowered to achieve their unique potential.
