Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

Growing up working class on the southside of Chicago, quality public education is what empowered me to develop my creativity, communication skills, and love of STEM, and to forge my own path from being a dance major to a computer science career in the budding field of user experience. Still, I know too many students struggle to reap the rewards that education has to offer. My public school experience taught me that education’s promise did not need to remain out of reach for me and that experience drives my passion for helping all students in our schools reach their full potential.
